Decision-Making Trial and Evaluation Laboratory-based Methods: Applications Under Uncertainty is an inside look at the original Decision Making Trial and Evaluation Laboratory (DEMATEL) method and its extensions. Also, in every chapter except Chapter 9, there are computational procedures and their computational implementation in solving decision making problems. This book answers the question of how the DEMATEL and fuzzy sets or neutrosophic sets are combined to suggest a new decision making method. This book also answers the question of how computational procedures of DEMATEL-based methods are applied to decision-making problems. The first chapter of this book begins with the original DEMATEL followed by several extensions of DEMATEL and their applications. The extensions proposed in this book are Fuzzy DEMATEL, intuitionistic Fuzzy DEMATEL, Pythagorean Fuzzy DEMATEL and several other extensions based on neutrosophic sets. Every proposed decision-making method is illustrated with case studies in which detailed computations are presented. The book provides valuable materials about DEMATEL-based methods, their computational procedures and computational illustrations of real-life case studies. This book may not cover every aspect of DEMATEL methods, but it does contain exemplary research on decision-making.
